What Dyma is, what it pays, and what it never asks for.
What is Dyma?
Dyma is a task-to-earn platform for the Cosmos ecosystem. Projects publish quests, which are small pieces of real work such as staking, voting on a proposal, shipping code or learning how a protocol works. You complete them, the work is verified, and you claim the reward.
Does it cost anything to earn?
No. Browsing and completing quests is free for earners, and you never pay Dyma to claim a reward. Projects pay to run campaigns. Onchain quests still cost whatever the network charges in gas, which goes to the chain rather than to us.
What do I actually earn?
Every quest pays Dyma Points and XP. Points measure what you have earned across the platform and XP measures your progress as an earner. Many campaigns also distribute a project token on top, which the campaign states up front before you start.
Do I need a wallet to sign up?
A wallet or an email address is enough. You can sign in with Keplr, with an email code, or with X, Discord, GitHub or YouTube. A wallet is only required for onchain quests and for receiving token rewards, and you can link one later.
Does Dyma hold my funds or my keys?
Never. Dyma never takes custody of your assets and never asks for a seed phrase or a private key. Wallet sign-in is a signature that proves you control the address. Token rewards are sent to your own wallet.
How is my work verified?
Most quests verify themselves. Onchain quests are checked against the chain from a transaction hash or by scanning your address, and social quests are checked through the account you linked. The rest go to the project for manual review, and the quest says which kind it is before you start.
How long does a reward take to arrive?
Automatically verified quests usually approve within seconds of submitting, and the reward becomes claimable straight away. Quests that need a human review depend on the project, which is why each submission shows its current status and its history.
What if my submission is rejected?
You get the reason on the submission, and most quests can be attempted again once you have fixed what was wrong. Quests that only run once say so, and repeatable quests show any cooldown before the next attempt.
Are the projects on Dyma vetted?
Projects that pay for a studio subscription can request a verified badge, which our team approves manually and which disappears if the subscription lapses. Reward tokens go through their own review. Anything unverified is labelled as such on the page, so you can decide what to trust.
I run a project. How do I publish quests?
Campaigns are built in Dyma Studio, the project side of the platform. You create a project, design a campaign with its quests and reward token, and publish it once it is ready. Quests then appear here for the whole Dyma audience.
